New patient guide

Questions first. A plan second.

Know what to bring, what the evaluation may include, how recommendations are made, and how to prepare for your first visit in Palm Bay or Sebastian.

Before you arrive

Prepare the information that changes care.

  • Photo identification and insurance details, if applicable
  • Medication and supplement list
  • Relevant imaging, operative reports, or prior treatment records
  • School, sports, work, or auto-insurance forms that need review
  • A short list of your symptoms, activity limits, and goals

The first visit

A clear four-step process

  1. 1

Conversation: symptoms, history, concerns, previous care, and what you need to return to.

  2. 2

Evaluation: relevant movement, orthopedic, neurologic, and functional testing.

  3. 3

Explanation: findings, appropriate options, alternatives, and reasons for referral when necessary.

  4. 4

Plan: agreed goals, expected milestones, home guidance, and a point for formal reassessment.

Practical details

Before booking

Is treatment guaranteed on the first visit?

No. Evaluation comes first, and same-day care depends on the findings and whether treatment is appropriate.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing that allows the area and relevant movements to be evaluated.

Do I need imaging?

Not automatically. Imaging is considered when the history and examination suggest it may change care.

What if I was in an auto accident?

Tell the office the crash date and bring available claim information and medical records. Florida PIP rules generally include a 14-day initial-treatment requirement; contact your insurer or attorney for advice about your situation.
